| Life was fun for young Sudhakar in a large family of seven siblings until alcoholism got the worst of his father, making him jobless and starting a journey of violence and dire poverty. His mother had to fend for the family all alone. Soon sudhakar joined her and abruptly ended his studies.
In the year 1976 at the age of 22 while travelling in a bus sudhakar was forced to think about life after death when his heart broke to see a young boy meeting with an accident and die. The hunt came to an end when he met Jesus through a man of God.
That was just the beginning, one year later he began serving God as full time Minister. Pastor Sudhakar began his ministry by teaching to the poor children in Sunday school. He then served as village pastor in Hayathnagar.
Soon God stirred his heart to start a church in the midst of poverty stricken area and called it Bethel Gospel Church which is on the bank of river Musi in the city of Hyderabad.
Having been faced and lived in poverty himself pastor Sudhakar in his own ways tries to bring about a ray of hope In destitute lives through the grace of Jesus Christ. He has been trained by Global leadership network Singapore on cell church. The training he received from GLN enabled him to train many Leaders within the church which resulted in rapid growth.
The more the number of churches grow, the more impact on the community as well. So much so that the Hindu fundamentalist tried their best to stop the church growth. On two occasions Pastor Sudhakar was beaten and imprisoned for proclaiming the gospel fearlessly to the poor.
Pastor Sudhakar started preaching the gospel in Hundreds of villages in Telangana Region of Andhra Pradesh.
VISION 2020
Pastor sudhakar has great burden to reach 10,258 villages in Telangana region by 2020.
Telangana region of Andhra Pradesh is the most unreached area with 1.2% Christians out of 40 million people. It has 10 districts, 457 Mandals (small towns) and 10,258 villages.
